Description

The digital applanation tonometer 900-D measures the pressure required to maintain a uniform applanation of the surface of the cornea. The precise measurement of the applanation surface is conducted with the slit lamp at 10x magnification. The pressure measurement is conducted on a slit lamp with the patient sitting down and is a routine test carried out as part of the standard slit lamp microscopy.
